Dr. Samira Jafari completed her undergraduate studies at Kennesaw State University, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Augusta University, formerly known as the Medical College of Georgia. There she received several awards, including the "Golden Molar" award for outstanding hand skills in operative dentistry and an Award of Merit for Excellence in Esthetic Dentistry from the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and was chosen by faculty to serve as a tutor.
Soon after graduating, Dr. Jafari began pursuing post graduate continuing education in airway dentistry and the mouth-body connection. She became passionate about these fields as she learned how much the condition of our mouths affects our overall health and wellbeing. After 9 years of practicing dentistry, she opened her own practice to offer a different approach to oral health care, concentrating on prevention and whole body health rather than waiting for problems to occur.
Dr. Jafari lives in Johns Creek, Georgia with her husband and three children.
